The Lunch on Ludington music series runs for nine weeks performing at the Escanaba Marketplace.
This week, the featured band is Wingin ' It.
Wingin' It playfully identifies its musical style as "Poly-Jamorous," because their extensive repertoire covers song titles and musical traditions spanning nearly 100 years, covering everything from standard rock classics and The Beatles to unexpected pop hits. They seamlessly blend classic rock, pop, acoustic melodies, and old-school favorites.
Organizer Wendy Pepin said the weekly concert series is an opportunity to take a break during the lunch hour and enjoy some music.
"Have people get together on their lunch hour, socialize, hopefully get a takeout from one of the local restaurants. So come on out," Pepin said. "And, for people who don't necessarily get out at night, come out in the afternoon. Sit down, meet some people, bring some friends and enjoy yourselves."
The music line-up for the rest of the summer includes:
June 24 Wingin’ It
July 1 Big Al & The Tomatas
July 8 Whiskey Ryan
July 15 Cash O’Riley
July 22 Finding Feathers
July 29 Goodfellas
August 5 Jim & Tonic
